Symptoms


Not everybody with POTS has every symptom. Some teenagers may get dizzy and have fatigue, and others may just have a constant headache. POTS looks different in everyone. Many POTS patients are first diagnosed with chronic fatigue or post viral syndrome and do not get better for years until they are finally, correctly diagnosed.

Symptoms may include:
-       Dizziness/light-headedness
-       Fainting
-       Fatigue (being tired)
-       Lots of sweating
-       Flushing
-       Increased heart rate
-       Headaches
-       Chest pain
-       Stomach pains or cramps
-       Weakness in your legs
-       Color changes in your legs
-       Nausea
-       Brain fog/difficulty concentrating
-       Mood changes including feelings of anxiety or depression
-       Vision changes or loss of vision
-       Feelings of cold and/or hot
